This beautiful country pub offers a warm welcome, great traditional home cooked menu and a wide selection of fine wines & real ale.

Our approach is simple, we put ourselves in the shoes of the customer and ask what would we want.

Running a pub is not rocket science, so we speak to our customers and listen and from doing this we now offer one of the nicest pubs in Berkshire set in a lovely location and with so much more to offer than most.

Now there's not many pubs can get away with saying that!

OUR REAR GARDEN

360 view of The Star Inn's rear garden The pub has a large beautiful garden which really comes into its own in the summertime, we are VERY welcoming to families and children and we are also dog friendly.

We have a great big garden with a bouncy castle and face painting throughout the summer (mainly for the kids, although you can also get your wrinkles painted out if needs be!), and for you parents. It is safe to know that the nippers cannot escape the garden! They have to come directly through the pub!

Throughout the winter we light up our two open fires which are located opposite each end of the main bar, a perfect and welcoming place to warm yourselves up when the weather turns for the worse, sit down and enjoy a relaxing drink.

THE STAR OPENING TIMES

We have our regular opening times listed below, but depending on events may open for extended periods at weekends and event evenings.

The Bar is open:

Monday to Sunday 12:00-23:00
(Although we are licenced for extended hours!)

Our Kitchen is open:

Monday to Saturday 12:00-21:00

Sunday 12:00-17:00

What we have to offer and other events we hold...

So, we are not just a pub... we love to support our locals and encourage new faces. We run through the year different events including various charity fund rasing events throughout the year. For the kids we have our own bouncy castle, facepainting and a huge garden too.

We hold regular BBQs through the summer and to top that, we even have our own Hog Roaster which is also available for any private or charity events.
